As a Senior Systems Management Analyst, you will be introduced to new and emerging technologies dedicated to Clinical Design Support functionality and tools. The Senior Systems Management Analyst is essential for monitoring and operating computer and peripheral equipment, reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems such as encoding, testing, debugging and performance. Working alongside the Care Delivery Organisation, you’ll have the opportunity to develop processes and activities that focus on restoring service after an incident occurs and to document all hardware, application, facility and take corrective action as required. Primary Responsibilities of the Senior Systems Management Analyst:

• 
  Perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design code development and testing, build, and deployment.
• 
  Partner with engineering / product management groups and represent operations, influence capability prioritization process with reliability challenges and operational investments
• 
  Ability to work in a DevOps frame of work and responsibilities
• 
  Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases every Sprint
• 
  Collaborate with System Analysts and Product Owners to align business requirements to the functionality of the application
• 
  Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required
• 
  Monitor and assess end to end performance on services by understanding all infrastructure components within the service chain
• 
  Work very closely with architecture groups and drive solutions
• 
  Management of high priority incidents to restoration for large scale benefits and healthcare systems, including remediation of potential security vulnerabilities.
• 
  Utilize ITSM tools to manage high priority incidents and reference problems, changes and configuration items
• 
  Utilize infrastructure and application tools (Splunk, Dynatrace and Azure AppInsights) to monitor the health of large-scale systems
• 
  Identify opportunities to automate routine tasks

Required Qualifications of the Senior Systems Management Analyst:

• 
  Strong experience in 24x7 Production support and ITSM practices
  


• Hands on experience with distributed server operations (build, break/fix, manage, patching and production support)
  


• Successful track record or application development
  


• Knowledge of monitoring tools, automation scripts and overall automation to reduce manual efforts
  


• Demonstrable experience working with Open-Source technology such as Jenkins, Git/GitHub, Azure, Kubernetes, Apache, Python and/or Java

Preferred Qualifications of the Senior Systems Management Analyst

• 
  Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  


• Good understanding of Agile continuous integration/continuous delivery development
  


• Experience writing batch files, PowerShell scripts or UNIX shell scripts
  


• Excellent written communication skills and ability to document technical content
•
